The Crossings at Twin Oaks

Gloucester Township, Camden County, New Jersey
This major commercial project is located near the growing Atlantic City Expressway – Berlin-Cross Keys Road interchange, at the corners of Gloucester Township/Winslow Township in Camden County, and Washington Township/Monroe Township in Gloucester County.

The front of the site consists of Tractor Supply, Tilted Kilt, Friendly’s Restaurant, and Rite Aid.  There is also a multi-tenant commercial center to the rear of the site.  CES provided full engineering, environmental permitting, surveying and client representation for the project.

Due to its excellent location, CES moved their offices to this site allowing us easy access throughout South Jersey.

Ethel Lawrence Homes – Mount Laurel, Burlington County, NJ – This is the project that led to the Mt. Laurel decision. It includes 140 units of townhomes and apartments managed by Fair Share Housing Development.

The Oaks at Weatherby – Woolwich, Gloucester County, NJ – An 86 apartment low/mod development on 10.7 acres within the Weatherby section of Woolwich Township, the project has final approval from the Township. CES is perfecting the plans and obtaining permits at this time. Community Investment Strategies (CIS) is the builder and owner. The development consists of a private loop road (Oaks Drive) off of a new Township Road with 197 parking spaces for 86 units in eight buildings, a community center and tot lot within the center open space area. Public water and sewer is provided through Aqua NJ, and the project includes a pump station and a stormwater management basin.

Jewish Federation Apartments – Cherry Hill Township, Camden County, NJ – This senior low and moderate income project involved the addition of a 10-story residential apartment building on a 3.1 acre site already occupied by a 12-story building and associated parking facilities. Royal Crescent Apartments – East Greenwich, Gloucester County, NJ – Royal Crescent is a 65 unit, community owned and operated by Community Investment Strategies. It was designed as a part of a residential PUD consisting of single family homes, currently being built by Ryan Homes and Fentell Homes and townhomes by Ryan. (Pictured above – top left)

Chelton Terrace Apartments – Camden City, Camden County NJ – Developed in cooperation with the Camden City Housing Authority and Ingerman Development, this project consists of 187 residential units constructed in three phases. It required demolition of the existing units, reconstruction of several streets, and attention to adjacent railroad tracks.

Bridgeton Hope VI Revitalization Project – City of Bridgeton, Cumberland County, NJ  This is a multi-phase project by Ingerman Development that consists of the construction of new twin and single units on multiple sites throughout Bridgeton. Phases I and II consist of 114 new units and a management building that were constructed in 2004.

Camden County College

Camden and Blackwood, Camden County, New Jersey
CES provided full site design and permitting services for three buildings on two campuses.


CIM Building – Camden County College, Blackwood Campus
The Computer Integrated Machinery building provides a hands-on factory facility for students interested in robotic manufacturing. It also has many classrooms for business and other curriculum.

Camden County Police Academy Building, Blackwood Campus – This facility houses the Camden County Freeholder’s education facility for police departments throughout South Jersey. Taught by law enforcement professionals, this facility produces many newly-trained police officers in any given year.

Camden County College, College Hall – Camden Campus – This building houses 40 classrooms and is the main Camden Campus for Camden County College. It also provides classroom space for students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree through a program with Rowan University.

 

 

Weatherby – Multi Use Development

Weatherby Planned Unit Development, Woolwich Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey – CES is proud to be a part of this Planned Unit Development and designer of several of the sub-projects located in the Weatherby Development in Woolwich Township. This exciting mixed-use project calls for over 4,000 residential units, including a mix of single-family lots, age-restricted lots, town homes, condominiums, commercial and office sites, and sites for schools, recreation, and a municipal building.

After completing wetlands mapping, NJDEP submissions, and surveying much of the site, CES provided design and permitting services for several sub-projects such as the Lexington Hill single- family homes project, a CVS pharmacy, numerous traffic reports, and county road widening projects, including design of a traffic signal. Current designs include the Chancellor Development Commercial Center and a major portion of the remaining single-family lots, town homes, and an Orleans condominium site behind the CVS.

                

Rivercove at RiverWinds

West Deptford, Gloucester County, New Jersey

The Rivercove age-restricted apartment complex is in West Deptford, at Riverwinds. CES provided full site design and permitting for this ambitious project.

Rivercove Apartments is a four-story apartment complex.   Experience with multi-family and mixed use projects like Main Street in Voorhees, and numerous projects in West Deptford, made CES the obvious choice to engineer this facility.

Rivercove consists of 200 one and two-bedroom apartments for an age-restricted clientele.   It includes surface parking surrounding the building as well as limited underground parking spaces.

Engineering and planning required in-depth study of local sewer and water line capacity, stormwater facilities, traffic requirements, wetlands delineation, full environmental permitting, and client representation. CES also provided construction stakeout services.

RiverWinds Multi-Use Development

West Deptford, Gloucester County, New Jersey

Riverwinds residential community was design to surround the community facilities and Riverwinds Golf Course with hundreds of age-restricted single family homes, age-restricted condominiums, apartments and commercial/office at the entrance.  CES was honored to be chosen to design these communities.

Washington Township, Gloucester County, NJ – Nov 18, 2016, SJ Times/NJ.Com – Kennedy Health plans to build a new seven-story patient tower and a 700-space parking garage on its Washington Township campus.
Construction on the $225 million project could begin in late 2018. Kennedy employs nearly 2,000 workers around its sprawling Township campus.

CES has been chosen to provide full site engineering for the 200,000 square foot building and parking garage, starting with pre-design that included a full property survey, studies, and discussions with the Washington Township Municipal Utilities Authority, traffic analysis, parking counts and analysis, and evaluation of multiple possible solutions for this complex project.

Full design and approvals are underway for this and a similar project at the Cherry Hill Kennedy Health Facility.

Social Service Provider – Wastewater Treatment

Pittsgrove Township, Salem County, NJ – A Social Service Provider expanded to better serve the community. CES successfully completed planning, design, permitting and construction oversight for the commissioning of a wastewater treatment plant with a base flow rate of 12,000 gpd. The process consisted of an anoxic/aerobic biological nutrient removal activated sludge plant.

Upon commissioning, our staff continued client service as the NJ State Licensed S-2 Wastewater Treatment Operator for the plant. CES was responsible for all effluent and monitoring requirements stipulated in the NJPDES Discharge Permit. This facility required compliance with the following regulations: New Jersey Water Pollution Control Act, New Jersey Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Regulations, and Ground Water Quality Standards.

Gloucester City, Camden County, NJ – Gloucester City enhance its Delaware River waterfront with a 1,300 feet long, 10 feet wide stamped concrete walkway, extending from the existing waterfront senior citizen apartment building and wrapping around Gloucester City’s Freedom Pier.

This Green Acres funded project will allow residents and visitors over 3,000 total feet of walkway along the Delaware River, with access to the existing marina and the many activities Gloucester City has along the waterfront during the summer months.

Work completed by CES included design and specifications for the installation of concrete and brick sidewalk, decorative fencing, benches, trash receptacles, solar powered lighting, and pedestrian ramps.
